Here we focus on the 'body' aspect of the school, where you will be introduced to the sporting life and co-curricular activities at Trinity.

Sport is an essential element of the life at Trinity and it is compulsory for all boys who attend the school. Essential for healthy living, disciplined care of the body and the cultivation of temperate habits are an integral component of the development of a well-rounded student.

Trinity offers a vast range of sports that will enable students to develop skills that will translate into all facets of their adult life.

With coaching staff supported by sport specialists who reflect our culture and beliefs, boys learn how to cope with adversity, to lose with dignity, and to win with grace.

Sporting Life

The School believes that involvement in sports programmes, with their emphasis on physical fitness, skill and team building, is an important part of School life. Disciplined care of the body and the cultivation of temperate habits are essential for Healthy living. For this reason Sport is compulsory for all boys from Years 3 to 12.

In the Senior School, sporting activities are provided in a range of different areas catering for the abilities of all boys. Competitiveness is encouraged for the sake of enabling boys to give of their best, rather than simply for the sake of winning. Boys are given the opportunities to succeed and develop through to the elite level in one or more of many different sports. The emphasis on students working in teams opens further avenues for leadership and co-operation. All boys participate in inter-school competitions usually on Saturdays during term. Inter-school matches are organised under the auspices of the Combined Associated Schools (CAS).

Coaching is provided by members of staff, external coaches and specialist personnel. More information about our sporting Directors can be found at right. Testimony to the value of these programmes is the School’s history of success across all sports.

Berea is a Co-curricular Activity that focuses on Christian leadership training, and is a place where boys apply the skills learnt by experiencing Christian leadership. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
